What is a computer?

A computer is an electronic machine and device that manipulates data and information.

Starting a computer-

1.      Switch on the main power supply button.

2.      Switch on the UPS.

3.      Switch on the CPU.

4.      Switch on the monitor.

5.      Welcome screen open.

Shutting down a computer

1.      Click the start button.

2.      From the start menu click the shutdown option.

3.      The computer displays a message as it shuts down and the monitor turns black. The CPU turns itself off.

4.      Switch off the monitor.

5.      Switch off the UPS.

6.      Do not switch off its power supply button. Keep the main power supply button ON for some time and charge the UPS.
